PRINCESS AUTO

Princess Auto has a long history (since 1933) as a Canadian supplier of farm, shop, hardware, and hydraulic equipment with great selection and value. As with many retailers, the stores evolved organically and eventually chaos and inconsistency started to limit the brand, and create operational headaches. Working with the team at DMD Retail Design we were able to create a completely new consumer experience for Princess Auto. An all new graphic program was developed including photography and updated identity, a new typical store layout optimized sight-lines and merchandising, we introduced destination points and promoted customer interaction with both staff and the products. The store exterior, road pylons, fixtures, category signage, way-finding, and all service touch points were part of the scope.  The result was a complete rejuvenation of the brand and space, bringing a clear and consistent execution of what Princess Auto is to the physical in-store experience.
