I love coffee.
I also love meeting entrepreneurs and business savvy doers to talk shop and discuss where things are going, so a long-standing thing I do is buy a coffee for potential clients in a local independent café.
It’s casual and non-committal, and I’ve found that although these conversations don’t always lead to working together, they are mutually beneficial by allowing me to dispense some knowledge gained from my direct experience in this industry, while keeping me connected to what is actually happening outside of my office, not just in theory.
