Hello! My name is Paul, and I am a Chartered Industrial Designer and a member of ACIDO since 2008. THE DESIGN INDUSTRY is the company I formed to allow me to apply my 20+ years of experience designing products, packaging, way-finding, graphics, and complete retail store environments. My clients range from small start-ups to billion-dollar corporations, and I love the variety my work allows, supporting a new business venture one day, to leading a design team for big business the next, it’s always interesting.

I like to look at design as a holistic process, it cannot be done in isolation to attain the best result; products that are well thought out from concept to production, retail spaces that are engaging and on brand. I truly care about the success of every client I work with, and I treat each project as though it were my own venture.  Setting you up for success is my goal.

When a project is larger scale, I assemble a senior level team that are best suited to your specific project. This method allows THE DESIGN INDUSTRY to provide the optimal service level and outcome, without the big agency fuss or expense. As a client, you will always be dealing directly with myself, or a project design lead, never through an account manager.

THE DESIGN INDUSTRY is located in the growing city of Guelph and provides Industrial Design and Retail Design service to Southern Ontario…although I will travel for a really juicy project.
